Faleh Atassi, M.D., says he always found acupuncture intriguing, and decided to incorporate it into his family practice after attending the Helms Medical Institute, which is associated with UCLA. Dr. Atassi received his medical degree from the University of Damascus and practiced in Syria and France before relocating to the United States, where he completed his family practice residency at Indiana University Northwest.
